The warning triangle is part of the mandatory equipment of a passenger car. The warning triangle must be placed in the vehicle in a protective packaging or without packaging so that the protection of the triangle against damage or destruction is ensured.
During an emergency stop, the driver is obliged to place the warning triangle on the edge of the road so that oncoming drivers can see it in time and clearly, at a distance of at least 50 m behind the vehicle. On the highway and expressway at least 100 m behind the vehicle.
